OOO Lesprom

OOO Lesprom is a harvesting company with limited sawmilling activities, located in Magistralny in the Irkutsk region. The company's main assets are two forest leases covering an area of 34,129 hectares, with an annual allowable cut (AAC) of 126,000 m3. Within the leased areas there is a high concentration of mature softwood, predominately pine and larch. As is the case with RusForest Angara and Boguchansky, Lesprom is seen very much as an operation in conjunction with RusForest Magistralny by, in future, providing excellent raw materials for the sawmill currently under construction.

Bamlesstroi

The company is the leaseholder of a forest area with 233,000 m3 yearly cutting rights, with 198,000 m3 (85%) of softwood, covering an area of 231,554 hectares. The tree species composition is larch 70%, cedar 10%, Fir 10% and aspen 10%. Bamlesstroi currently has harvesting and transport equipment with a capacity to harvest more than its AAC, and the balance will be harvested on a contractual basis at Lesprom.
